QUINCY, IL – You can’t predict when you’ll get sick or hurt. But, when you’re not feeling well, quick care is important. Since 1986, QMG has offered walk-in, on-demand care to patients. The Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) is excited to announce an expansion of their practice: QMG Now.
Starting Monday, June 8, QMG Now is available for walk-in care seven days a week. QMG Now provides immediate access to QMG’s ACC doctors that patients have trusted for over thirty years. This immediate care is available at the same cost of a regular office visit and provides patients with access to specialists, advanced imaging, testing, and other services at a low-cost.
Dr. Ernest Wallace explained that patients should not delay care and says that QMG Now’s expanded services provide a safe, accessible, and affordable option for patients at a time when they need it most.
“When you’re not feeling well or are in pain, quick care is necessary, but, in many cases, the emergency room isn’t necessary,” he explained. “QMG Now is here to treat patients for illness or injury. Our team has been here for many years treating patients of the community and meeting a variety of needs, this expansion allows us to offer more access to care, right when patients need it.”
Dr. Wallace added that comfort and convenience are important when it comes to healthcare, so QMG Now has enhanced the care experience to meet the needs of patients today, including offering virtual visits, and car waiting which allow patients to check-in from their vehicles and be brought directly to an exam room.
“We want our patients to be seen quickly any way that they feel comfortable. We’ve added options for convenience and adapted our facilities to continue providing an amazing visit experience,” he noted.
QMG NOW is located at 1025 Maine St. Beginning Monday, June 8, hours will be: Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
