From the start, our physicians have led the way, developing a space that transforms surgical care in our community. The innovative, state-of-the-art facility joins the Cancer Institute on our developing Broadway campus. Together, the facilities offer physician-led, patient-centered care with the region’s latest technology.
Wide Variety of Surgical Procedures
The QMG Surgery Center focuses on providing same-day surgeries and procedures. The facility features five surgical (including hybrid) rooms, three procedure rooms, 15 recovery rooms, 9 GI pre/post rooms, and 10 pre-op rooms offering the latest in medical technology, patient amenities, and convenient, outpatient care.
Our medical facility includes endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, multiple ophthalmology procedures including laser surgery, and operation rooms to support other surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general, gynecological, oral, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, podiatry, and plastic surgery.

For years, the region has had a need for high-quality surgical care at a lower-cost. The QMG Surgery Center provides that to Quincy and the surrounding communities. From the beginning, this project has been for our patients. Our physicians have been closely involved in every aspect of this project to be the voice of their patients to ensure the facility provides an environment and experience unlike any other.
Repurposing Space in the Heart of Quincy
We are a community who believes in using our resources wisely. Quincy holds a lot of beauty and history. Quincy Town Center, formerly the Quincy Mall, is part of that history. The QMG Cancer Institute and QMG Surgery Center are housed in the space formerly occupied by Bergner’s. Repurposing and revitalizing that space is something we’re proud of, and something that’s happening nationwide. More than 70,000 square-feet of the has been repurposed to create space for both our QMG Cancer Institute and QMG Surgery Center.
