QMG Offers Convenience and Comfort with Home Hemodialysis Program

QUIN­CY, IL — Quin­cy Med­ical Group (QMG) is pleased to announce the rein­tro­duc­tion of its home hemodial­y­sis pro­gram. This pro­gram empow­ers patients with end-stage renal dis­ease by offer­ing a con­ve­nient treat­ment option in the com­fort of their own homes.

Hemodial­y­sis is a vital treat­ment that removes waste prod­ucts and excess flu­id from the blood when the kid­neys are no longer func­tion­ing prop­er­ly. Tra­di­tion­al­ly, this treat­ment takes place in a clin­ic set­ting sev­er­al times a week. Home hemodial­y­sis pro­vides patients with the flex­i­bil­i­ty to receive the same life-sav­ing treat­ment on their own schedule.
