Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a safe and painless imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create pictures of internal organs and tissues. It’s widely used for various reasons, including monitoring fetal development, examining organs like the gallbladder, liver, and kidneys, and helping to diagnose a range of medical conditions.

Also known as sonography, this test produces images by recording the echoes of sound waves as they bounce off body tissues. Ultrasound can be used alone or in combination with other diagnostic procedures, and it’s even helpful for guiding doctors during biopsies.
