It has been my privilege and honor to have been entrusted with the medical and surgical eye care needs of thousands of patients over the years in a profession that I am finding very hard to leave behind. It is incredibly rewarding to assist patients in the optimization, preservation, and restoration of their vision. The needs of the individual patient is the focus of each of my patient encounters. In addition to prescribing required care, I embrace the responsibility to educate, reassure, and encourage patients facing issues with their eyes and vision. In the area of planning for cataract surgery, at a time when many options are available, I find particularly rewarding the process of discovering and delivering the surgical plan tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
