My family and I, including my husband and 3 children, moved to Brown County in 2007, and I have worked for QMG in Mt. Sterling as a Physical Therapist since moving to the area. I have acted as the Clinical Coordinator of Physical Therapy at the Mt. Sterling site for several years. I have had the privilege of serving the community in which I live and where my kids attend school, which has always been important to me. I love treating patients of all ages and conditions, to where I consider myself a “generalist”, rather than a “specialist”, which I believe to be vital working in a rural clinic. With my background in playing college basketball, I do have a passion for treating sports injuries and seeing athletes return to competition safely. Whatever your rehabilitation goals I value every patient and will work alongside you to provide compassionate care but challenge you to be your very best along the way.

As a department we have recently implemented PRI principles for treatment of acute and chronic conditions, which is unique in the area. I have also recently received certification in Blood Flow Restriction training and implement that when appropriate.
I love being active in the outdoors with my family, including fishing, hiking, swimming and boating. I love attending our local YMCA, or working out at home, including weightlifting, running and playing pickleball. I am an active difference maker at The Crossing in Mt. Sterling where my family and I have attended since we moved to Brown County. I have also coached girls’ basketball for over 10 years, moving from 5th and 6th to 7th and 8th and love spreading my basketball knowledge to the next generation. You will see me being a spectator and fan at all Brown County sporting events…go Hornets! I am an avid Cardinals and Fighting Illini fan {but I will still treat a Cubs fan).
