Most of the patients I see have chronic conditions that require a commitment from the patient and from me the provider to work together (often over many years) to hopefully make positive changes to lifestyle and medications if needed. I feel like patients should be listened to and given the time needed to feel understood and to understand what options are available to hopefully improve longevity and quality of life.

Clinical Interests
There is wide variety of patients I see on a weekly basis, but my specific medical interest in Endocrinology is diabetes. I enjoy working with diabetic patients over time to reduce the risk of complications and improve overall health.
Personal Interests
Spending time and existing with family is what I do outside of work. My wife, three daughters, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We have a small farm. We raise sheep and have a large garden. We eat supper together and are outside until its dark and the mosquitos are biting.
