I am passionate about improving my patient’s ability to communicate with their loved ones so they can continue sharing their needs, wants, and stories. There are a variety of diagnoses that affect communication, and regardless of the cause, my goal is always to increase my patient’s ability to communicate successfully.
I am equally as dedicated to helping patients with swallowing problems, which not only affects their overall health and malnutrition/dehydration concerns, but meals provide daily enjoyment and opportunities for us to connect with others. Overall, my goal can be summarized as helping people sit around the table with those they care about to share a meal and a story or two.
