I approach each patient with personalized care based on their unique needs, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with the patient and their family. I see myself as a member of their team and hope to provide them with tools and education to improve their quality of life and happiness.

Clinical Interests

I am passionate about improving my patient’s ability to communicate with their loved ones so they can continue sharing their needs, wants, and stories. There are a variety of diagnoses that affect communication, and regardless of the cause, my goal is always to increase my patient’s ability to communicate successfully.

I am equally as dedicated to helping patients with swallowing problems, which not only affects their overall health and malnutrition/dehydration concerns, but meals provide daily enjoyment and opportunities for us to connect with others. Overall, my goal can be summarized as helping people sit around the table with those they care about to share a meal and a story or two.

Personal Interests

I love being at home spending time with my husband and children, reading, and playing piano.
