I feel very blessed to be able to pro­vide care to my patients, espe­cial­ly since this is the com­mu­ni­ty that I grew up in. Being a physi­cian was my dream from a young age and I con­tin­ue to find great ful­fill­ment with my career. I enjoy get­ting to know my patients on a per­son­al lev­el in addi­tion to know­ing their health issues. It is tru­ly a bless­ing to me to be a part of some­one’s preg­nan­cy and birth. I pride myself in being open to patien­t’s desires and hope to pro­vide them with evi­dence based options to help them decide their best plan forward.

My time out­side of med­i­cine is spent with my fam­i­ly. We enjoy spend­ing time togeth­er play­ing out­side, at sport­ing events, doing fam­i­ly movie and game nights. Our faith is para­mount to us as we also spend time at church, in con­nect groups, and among fel­low believ­ers of the Chris­t­ian faith. I enjoy read­ing, scrap­book­ing, and using my cre­ative side, but I have less time for those things as I raise my children.

"She had a patient at the hospital getting ready to deliver but she still took her time to see me, did not rush me, answered my questions, and took really good care of me. She made me feel very comfortable and calmed my nerves. Told me what she was doing before she did it which made the process less anxiety inducing. She is a wonderful doctor and her patients are lucky to have her."

"30+ years ago, I had a negative experience with my then OBGYN. I was SLIGHTLY overweight and at the time didn't understand that I was being "body shamed" in my appointment. All I knew then was that I left with a horrible self image and never returned. It took me more than 2 decades to be brave enough to return to an OBGYN office. Just the thought caused me extreme anxiety. I ended up for awhile with one at Blessing Physician Services simply because it was a different environment but over time, just felt that, being a patient who would never be pregnant made me of lesser value. Dr. Wand was recommended to me by a number of individuals; initial appointment was scheduled through my PCP Dr Adam Reyburn's office. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr Wand and her staff. For the FIRST TIME in my adult life, I felt valued and significant in an OBGYN office. Dr Wand and her team are simply THE BEST. By her team, I mean every staff member I encountered. (Sorry for the long reply but the first part of it is super important to the experience I had last week.)"
