I have been practicing gastroenterology for more than three decades. Each day I continue to see that listening and trying to understand each person’s needs is as important as having up to date knowledge, skills and tools. I retired from full time practice in 2022 and see patients exclusively at our partner, Sarah D Culbertson Hospital in Rushville, Illinois. I continue to attend educational meetings and conferences, nationally and remotely at the University of Wisconsin where my daughter is a physician assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
