My name is Chancy. I love help­ing kids learn and real­ize that they can do things that they weren’t able to pre­vi­ous­ly do. I find joy in watch­ing their eyes light up as they under­stand what I’m teach­ing them. My goal is to always pro­vide a pos­i­tive ener­gy to inter­ac­tions I have with both patients and their par­ents and seek to help them grow in their com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills at home and with­in the school setting.

My spe­cif­ic inter­ests with­in speech ther­a­py are artic­u­la­tion dis­or­ders, specif­i­cal­ly dif­fi­cul­ties with the R sound, AAC devices, and help­ing fam­i­lies advo­cate for their chil­dren and under­stand how to nav­i­gate the eval­u­a­tion and IEP sys­tem with­in the pub­lic-school setting.

Personal Interests

Out­side of speech ther­a­py, I enjoy spend­ing time with my fam­i­ly, read­ing, work­ing out, play­ing with my dog, and plan­ning Dis­ney vacations.
