I began in pedi­atrics in 1978 and worked in hos­pi­tal acute care for 20 years, lov­ing the chal­lenge of nurs­ing chil­dren. My long-time dream was to become a pedi­atric nurse prac­ti­tion­er and God pro­vid­ed the oppor­tu­ni­ty for this to become real­i­ty. I tru­ly was cre­at­ed for this job and after 26yrs, I still love what I do. The oppor­tu­ni­ty to cre­ate last­ing rela­tion­ships, watch fam­i­lies grow, become a trust­ed resource for their fam­i­ly and to know that I have made a dif­fer­ence, is the stuff dreams are made of! 

I could nev­er imag­ine doing any­thing else but pedi­atric nursing.
