Ash­ley brings a strong back­ground in com­mu­ni­ty-based mid­wifery, clin­i­cal herbal­ism, and whole-per­son health to her role as a Cer­ti­fied Nurse Mid­wife. She stud­ied as a Mas­ters stu­dent in direct-entry mid­wifery in Seat­tle and attend­ed births in a vari­ety of OOH set­tings for 3 years before trans­fer­ring to Fron­tier Nurs­ing Uni­ver­si­ty to com­plete her train­ing as a Cer­ti­fied Nurse Mid­wife (CNM). Most recent­ly, she has been prac­tic­ing as a Cer­ti­fied Nurse Mid­wife and Wom­en’s Health Care Nurse Prac­ti­tion­er in the Greater Peo­ria area serv­ing cen­tral Illi­nois, in the clin­ic set­ting as well as pro­vid­ing in-hos­pi­tal labor, birth and post­par­tum care.
