My main goal is to help patients succeed in the activities that are important to them. When working with adults, I like to take a whole person perspective, understanding that pain can affect all areas of life. By decreasing a patient’s pain first, we are able to make improvements in other areas as well. When working with children, I have the mindset that children learn best through play. If a child is having fun, they are more likely to improve with any of the skills we are working on.
