"This was a little weird but NOT AT ALL Dr. Smith's fault. When first informed of my AAA (approx April '25), my wife and I were told a McDonough District Hospital ER radiologist had measured it at 5 centimeters and thus of immediate concern. We requested referrals to several hospitals but received no response for a couple months until Dr. Smith's office contacted us. That in itself was a huge positive, knowing I would finally be seen by a specialist. But when Dr. Smith came into the exam room, it was clear he didn't feel the urgency we did. It took a moment to sort out the confusion, but my wife and I finally realized that we had originally been given inaccurate information at MDH about the size of the AAA. Dr. Smith carefully showed us his analysis of the aneurysm and estimated its size as less than half what we'd originally been told and had been entered into my chart. I think Dr. Smith might have been a bit nonplussed by our reaction to having the misinformation from MDH corrected. I felt like I'd escaped a death sentence (my father died from a medical error while under going surgery to repair a AAA). Dr. Smith remained congenial and understanding throughout and I will happily continue to see him for treatment of my AAAA."

"Me as wife did not meet Him till that day that was a little hard as I did not know Him ahead of time. So I asked other people n nurse about Him. R son n Grandaughter I think Met Him ahead of time .They loved Him My husband was thrilled with Him.
