Nancy graduated from Western Illinois University in 1988 with a bachelor of science degree. From 1991 until 2002 Nancy worked at Chaddock Residential. In August 2005, Nancy graduated with a Masters of Social Worker from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. With her MSW, Nancy worked in community mental health programs for adults with a specialty in co-occurring disorders. Upon receiving her LCSW, Nancy worked as a private practitioner and at Blessing Hospital’s Pain Management Program.
Nancy has been at QMG since 2013. Nancy has always worked in rural behavioral health providing services to youth, adults, and families. Nancy also serves the geriatric population and sees clients in the local nursing homes. Nancy’s specialty is trauma-related issues. Nancy provides EMDR to individuals with acute trauma and PTSD. Nancy also provides comprehensive treatment to individuals suffering from complex trauma and dissociative disorders. Current practices utilized include CBT, DBT, mindfulness, stress reduction, and relaxation. Untraditional therapies include yoga, movement and alignment, and somatic therapies.
