“I decided to become an occupational therapist because I knew I wanted to provide person-centered care. Being able to look at the whole person and situation is something that is unique to occupational therapy and that is what made me love it so much. I chose pediatrics because it is a population that needs a voice and has a great potential for success provided they are given the right tools. Being a pediatric occupational therapist allows me to look at the child and situation and provide the tools the child needs for success.”
