I enjoy Fam­i­ly Med­i­cine because of the vari­ety of patients and dis­ease process­es I am able to see and treat. I rely upon my spe­cial­ist col­leagues for needs that are out­side of my scope of prac­tice, but enjoy being the front line of a patien­t’s health needs. I am an out­pa­tient fam­i­ly med­i­cine physi­cian with my inpa­tient col­leagues car­ing for my patients if they need hos­pi­tal care.

I enjoy spend­ing time with my fam­i­ly. Our two sons keep us busy with all of their activities.

"The physician gave a steroid rather than a painkiller based on a snap decision that because I had some specific allergies to one kind of painkiller, a steroid would be better rather than asking what painkillers might be used, and what medications had been used successfully in the past. With urging, some X-Rays were ordered. But the repeated insistence was that the physician couldn't really help, that I should make an appointment with my regular doctor (who was unavailable), that she is not a specialist, and so on framed a rather useless visit with an actual physician."

She had went to 2 other physicians in a specialist role at Barnes and neither physician took her wounds into consideration.
