Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1991, and her master’s degree in community counseling from Quincy University in 2009. Kathy has worked in the human services field in Quincy for many years providing therapy services for individuals and groups addressing trauma and attachment issues. She provides services to children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing evidence-based interventions, including EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS), CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Dyadic Development Therapy. Kathy’s areas of interest are working with individuals who have experienced trauma and attachment issues, depression, anxiety, and self-regulation issues.
