He is great in explaining what is happening from a medical point of view in a way that is not complex or overwhelming. Dr. Phillips always brings my Mom in on making a decision about her care and sharing his thoughts with her. My Mom and I have felt truly blessed to have him as her physician every time we see him. He Is consistently "who he Is" everyday, In spite of the demands on his time and the serious complex medical Issues he faces that probably weigh on him. He stands out as one of the finest physicians we have ever met."

"Under the circumstances there wasn't a lot of time to discuss much. I was given a card with an appointment the next morning in St. Louis. I left there in shock and not sure what to do. A concerned nurse followed me out and shared very helpful information to me and that made a big difference. I didn't get her name but she was a godsend!"
