Spinach Feta Turkey Burger (Yields: 8 burgers)

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 pounds ground turkey (choose one with less than 10 grams fat)

Directions:

  • Preheat skillet and spray with pan spray. You can also preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate or.
  • While preheating, mix together eggs, garlic, feta cheese, spinach, and turkey in a large bowl until well combined; form into 8 patties.
  • Cook on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 15 to 20 minutes.

Note: These can be served on low carbohydrate buns or eaten plain.
