Representative Darin LaHood Tours QMG Cancer Institute

Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Darin LaHood of Illi­nois toured the Quin­cy Med­ical Group (QMG) Can­cer Insti­tute on Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 11.

In March of this year, QMG opened the new, state-of-the-art facil­i­ty at 3301 Broad­way in Quin­cy, IL. The QMG Can­cer Insti­tute pro­vides area patients with med­ical and radi­a­tion oncol­o­gy care, high­ly spe­cial­ized equip­ment, coor­di­nat­ed care all under one roof, and access to the area’s only ful­ly inte­grat­ed clin­i­cal trials.

“It was great to be in Quin­cy this morn­ing to vis­it Quin­cy Med­ical Group’s new Can­cer Insti­tute,” said Rep. LaHood. ​“Through QMG’s work, res­i­dents in Adams Coun­ty and west-cen­tral Illi­nois will con­tin­ue to ben­e­fit from robust access to qual­i­ty, afford­able health­care. In Con­gress, I will con­tin­ue to work with my col­leagues on both sides of the aisle to sup­port efforts to increase health care access for 18th Dis­trict constituents.”
