Quincy Medical Group Invites Community to Leave Messages of Hope at New Cancer Institute

Con­struc­tion on the Quin­cy Med­ical Group Can­cer Insti­tute is under­way at the for­mer Bergner’s space at the Quin­cy Mall. On June 2, Nation­al Can­cer Sur­vivors Day, QMG will halt con­struc­tion and open the doors to allow the com­mu­ni­ty to come in and write inspi­ra­tional mes­sages on the unfin­ished walls. The event titled, If These Walls Could Talk, is in part­ner­ship with the QMG Health­care Foun­da­tion and will hon­or all those impact­ed by cancer.

Who: Patients, sur­vivors, fam­i­ly mem­bers, physi­cians, and the com­mu­ni­ty at large

What: Atten­dees will write inspi­ra­tional mes­sages of hope, heal­ing, and encour­age­ment on the unfin­ished walls. Pho­tographs of the mes­sages will be cap­tured and fea­tured through­out the Can­cer Insti­tute and also in a com­mem­o­ra­tive book­let that will be giv­en to new patients.

When: Sun­day, June 2 (Nation­al Can­cer Sur­vivors Day) from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
