Quincy Medical Group Brings Podiatry Care to Keokuk Location

KEOKUK, IA – Quin­cy Med­ical Group (QMG) is pleased to announce the addi­tion of podi­a­try ser­vices to Keokuk.

Begin­ning Sep­tem­ber 18, Dr. Shwe­tal Patel, DPM will begin see­ing patients at QMG’s Keokuk loca­tion at 1603 Mor­gan Street in addi­tion to his loca­tions in Quin­cy and Mt. Sterling.

“I look for­ward to pro­vid­ing podi­a­try care to patients in the Keokuk area,” he said. ​“Hav­ing podi­a­try care avail­able to local patients allows them to get their care right here, close to home.”

Dr. Patel joined Quin­cy Med­ical Group in 2007. He received his med­ical degree from the Ros­alind Franklin Uni­ver­si­ty School of Med­i­cine, Col­lege of Podi­atric Med­i­cine in North Chica­go, IL. He com­plet­ed res­i­den­cies in Pri­ma­ry Podi­atric Med­i­cine and Podi­atric Sur­gi­cal Res­i­den­cy at St. Louis Vet­er­ans Hospital.

Broad­en­ing the reach of podi­a­try ser­vices in the region is impor­tant to Dr. Patel.

“Extend­ing my prac­tice to Keokuk gives me the oppor­tu­ni­ty to offer podi­a­try care to more peo­ple in the region,” he shared. ​“I val­ue this oppor­tu­ni­ty to be part of the Keokuk com­mu­ni­ty and hope to fill a need for podi­a­try care in the area.”
