QMG Welcomes Jordan Hogan, FNP-C

From the first day she held a play stetho­scope in Kinder­garten, Jor­dan Hogan knew she want­ed to be a nurse. ​“I knew from that moment what I want­ed to be. I just didn’t know how far I want­ed to go until fair­ly recent­ly when I went back to school and pur­sued my advanced degree.”

Now she is ready to put her pas­sion and skill to use to help patients here at Quin­cy Med­ical Group. Jor­dan is a Nurse Prac­ti­tion­er spe­cial­iz­ing in Inter­ven­tion­al Spine and Joint Well­ness and works along­side Dr. Howard Dedes. She said the part­ner­ship with Dr. Dedes is one that will ben­e­fit patients. ​“We work as a team to pro­vide the patient with the best pos­si­ble care.”

The spe­cial rela­tion­ship between a provider and patient is not one Jor­dan takes for grant­ed. ​“The rela­tion­ships with my patients shape my work. I enjoy each of them and get­ting to know their sto­ry. I want to work with them how­ev­er I can to cre­ate a plan that will work for them and help them find pain relief.”

Jor­dan received her Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence degree in Nurs­ing from Bless­ing Rie­man Col­lege of Nurs­ing and her Mas­ter of Sci­ence in Nurs­ing from Maryville Uni­ver­si­ty in St. Louis. She is a board cer­ti­fied Fam­i­ly Nurse Prac­ti­tion­er through the Amer­i­can Asso­ci­a­tion of Nurse Practitioners.
