QMG Welcomes Dr. Neville Q. Crenshaw

Quin­cy Med­ical Group is pleased to intro­duce Dr. Neville Cren­shaw, Pri­ma­ry Care Physi­cian, at our new Kaho­ka, MO affil­i­ate (pre­vi­ous­ly the Cren­shaw Fam­i­ly Prac­tice Clinic).

Dr. Cren­shaw grad­u­at­ed from Keokuk Senior High School, received his B.S in Biol­o­gy from North­east Mis­souri State Uni­ver­si­ty (now Tru­man State), his med­ical degree from the Kirksville Col­lege of Osteo­path­ic Med­i­cine, and res­i­den­cy at Charles E. Still Osteo­path­ic Hos­pi­tal in Jef­fer­son City, MO.

His prac­tice phi­los­o­phy cen­ters around the Three A’s – Abil­i­ty, Avail­abil­i­ty, Affa­bil­i­ty, ” He explains, A good Pri­ma­ry Care physi­cian should be able to diag­nose and treat 95% of the con­di­tions that enter his clin­ic- that’s Abil­i­ty. I am on call basi­cal­ly 247, still doing hos­pi­tal rounds, ER vis­its, nights and week­ends, as well as 5 days a week in the Clin­ic- that’s avail­abil­i­ty, and I try to always main­tain my self-dep­re­cat­ing sense of humor and affability.”

He has been in pri­vate prac­tice in his own clin­ic since 1984. He main­tains hos­pi­tal priv­i­leges at Keokuk Area Hos­pi­tal, and has served in all lead­er­ship capac­i­ties at the hos­pi­tal- ER physi­cian cov­er­age, Chair­man of Med­i­cine Depart­ment, Cre­den­tials Com­mit­tee Chair­man, Phar­ma­cy and Ther­a­peu­tics Com­mit­tee Chair­man, Hos­pi­tal Board mem­ber, and numer­ous tenures as Chief of the Med­ical Staff-one of which he is cur­rent­ly serving.
