Welcome Marshall V. Munch, OD
Dr. Marshall Munch has practiced optometry for 20 years, and throughout that time he says his patients are who continue to inspire him each day. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and building relationships. I’m here to help them however I can. Vision is very precious and to help people see better and
preserve their eyesight is rewarding.”
Dr. Munch joins the team at HQ Eyes in Hannibal and looks forward to continuing to care for patients in the area. His approach with each patient is individualized because he understands that each patient has unique goals and needs. “Every patient is different, and it’s important to me that when they leave my office, they understand their treatment and feel comfortable with the plan we have developed.”
Caring for patients like he would his own family has been a guiding principle in his practice. “I try to base my clinical decisions as if the patient was a family member. I feel this allows me to put my patient’s vision first and foremost.”
Dr. Munch received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Harding University in Arkansas and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Optometry. Dr. Munch and his wife have two sons.
Welcome Kent R. Wolber, OD
Dr. Wolber credits his dad for his decision to pursue a career in optometry. “He came to me one day and asked what I was thinking about for a career. I told him a few things I had been thinking about, but I hadn’t decided on anything. He had just gotten back from getting his eyes checked, and he said ‘what do you think of being an optometrist? I think you would really enjoy it.’ I hadn’t thought about optometry but knew I wanted to do something in science. I have him to thank for pointing me in this direction.”
Now Dr. Wolber has been practicing for over 30 years, and he joins the team at HQ Eyes in Hannibal. His love for what he does hasn’t faded through those years. “I bring my love for the profession to the office every day. Each patient is unique, and every day I learn something new.”
His priority is always his patients. “For me, it’s always about taking care of the patient. I’m here for them and to help them see the best they can for their occupation or for a hobby they’re passionate about.”
Dr. Wolber received his bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 25 years, and they have a daughter currently attending medical school.
