Dr. Benedict’s interest in optometry began during a high school job shadowing experience when he witnessed the intricate workings of the human eye. The first time I looked through the ophthalmoscope and saw the back of the eye, I was hooked,” he shared.

Dr. Benedict, a Hannibal native, spent the past nine years in Mexico, Missouri. His family’s roots and a desire to give back to his community drew him back to the area.
