The Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) heard public comments on Quincy Medical Group Hospital’s Certificate of Need (CON) application for a small-format hospital at their board meeting today. The project’s approval today would have required a quorum of six CON board members. A quorum was not reached at the CON Board today, which resulted in a delay in QMG Hospital project’s approval.
QMG CEO Carol Brockmiller said, “We are grateful for the CON Board’s time today and are eager to reconvene when they are able to reach a quorum.”
A date and time will be determined by the CON Board’s staff.
