QMG Eager to Reconvene with Certificate of Need Board

The Illi­nois Health Facil­i­ties and Ser­vices Review Board (HFS­RB) heard pub­lic com­ments on Quin­cy Med­ical Group Hospital’s Cer­tifi­cate of Need (CON) appli­ca­tion for a small-for­mat hos­pi­tal at their board meet­ing today. The project’s approval today would have required a quo­rum of six CON board mem­bers. A quo­rum was not reached at the CON Board today, which result­ed in a delay in QMG Hos­pi­tal project’s approval.

QMG CEO Car­ol Brock­miller said, ​“We are grate­ful for the CON Board’s time today and are eager to recon­vene when they are able to reach a quorum.”

A date and time will be deter­mined by the CON Board’s staff.
