On Saturday, May 13, Quincy Medical Group (QMG) will host the 23rd annual Bridge the Gap to Health Race. Safety is a top priority for the event. To ensure the safety of participants, spectators, and volunteers the following streets will be closed or reduced to one lane.

Streets to be closed from 4 a.m. to noon

  • Front St. from Jersey to Broadway
  • Bonansinga from Cedar to Broadway
  • 2nd St. from Maine to Cedar
  • Broadway from 3rd to Bonansinga
  • Vermont from 3rd to Front St.
  • Hampshire from 3rd to Front St.

Streets to be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

  • South lane of the Bayview Bridge
  • West lane of North 3rd St. at the Broadway intersection
  • North lane of the Memorial Bridge
  • North lanes of Maine from the Memorial Bridge to 4th St.
  • Cedar St. from 3rd St. to Bonansinga Drive
  • Bonansinga Drive from Cedar to Kochs Lane

Additionally, these routes are marked as no parking zones from 3 a.m. until noon on race day.

In the case of inclement weather, Bridge the Gap to Health Committee members will work closely with the Adams County Emergency Management Agency to determine the best option for participant and volunteer safety.
