What is the difference between face-to-face vs. telehealth psychiatry visits?
Children and adolescent psychiatry visits are all virtual at this time and our pediatric patients have the option to do telehealth at home or in an office setting at the clinic. For adults, telehealth from home is a great option for patients that are having difficulty with transportation, are not feeling well, struggle to leave their house due to severe psychiatric symptoms, or have limited time off work to attend appointments. Face to face might be more appropriate for patients who feel more comfortable in face to face conversations or who have complicated psychiatric and medical needs that require close observation.
Are telehealth visits recorded?
Your privacy is important to us Our secure video connection is protected by safeguards, and your virtual appointments are never recorded or stored.
