Holly B. has always had a big heart for helping others, and her journey to a career in healthcare is a perfect example of that. After spending years as a stay-at-home mom, Holly decided it was time to jump back into the workforce. She took on a job as a caregiver for adults with developmental delays, and it turned out to be a great fit.
“I loved that job. I enjoyed every moment,” Holly shared.
It was during this time that a nurse she worked with suggested she consider nursing. When she left that position, she knew she would eventually achieve that.
While taking some general education classes at John Wood Community College, Holly learned about a new Medical Assistant program. Excited about the opportunity, she signed up and proudly became one of the first students to graduate from the program. Now, Holly is part of Dr. Christian Zwick’s team, and she loves her role.
“Being involved in our patients’ care before and after surgery and supporting them throughout their time at Quincy Medical Group is the most rewarding part of my job,” she said.
