Rising Star Award: Chase M.

Our fourth QMG Annu­al Award recog­ni­tion is for the Ris­ing Star Award and it was pre­sent­ed to Chase M., Reg­is­tered Phar­ma­cist in Infu­sion Therapy. 

Recip­i­ents of this dis­tin­guished award demon­strates out­stand­ing promise in their respec­tive field, exhibits lead­er­ship and integri­ty in serv­ing patients and the com­mu­ni­ty, cul­ti­vates col­lab­o­ra­tion amongst their team, and dis­plays curios­i­ty, cre­ativ­i­ty, and diver­si­ty of thought to cre­ate change and make an impact in field of healthcare. 

Since join­ing the QMG team in April, Chase has con­sis­tent­ly demon­strat­ed an excep­tion­al com­mit­ment to excel­lence in both patient care and cost man­age­ment, par­tic­u­lar­ly with­in the Infu­sion department. 

“From the out­set, Chase has shown remark­able ini­tia­tive in help­ing to achieve sub­stan­tial cost sav­ings on phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals by tena­cious­ly research­ing and pur­su­ing sig­nif­i­cant rebates due to us. His proac­tive approach and in-depth under­stand­ing of our needs have result­ed in stream­lined process­es and cost effi­cien­cies that have great­ly ben­e­fit­ed our depart­ment and over­all bud­get. His ongo­ing work with Jim Mur­phy and the Pro­cure­ment team has been great­ly appre­ci­at­ed,” shared Chase’s leader, Bran­don S., Senior Vice Pres­i­dent of CBS Oper­a­tions, Ancillaries.

Chase’s con­tri­bu­tions extend far beyond cost man­age­ment. His abil­i­ty to fos­ter col­lab­o­ra­tion and lead with integri­ty has made him an invalu­able mem­ber of the QMG team. Bran­don goes on to share, ​“In addi­tion to his finan­cial acu­men, Chase has proven to be a col­lab­o­ra­tive leader with­in our orga­ni­za­tion. He has worked seam­less­ly with Jamie P. and oth­er team mem­bers to fos­ter growth and ensure the high­est stan­dards of patient care in the Infu­sion depart­ment. Chase’s abil­i­ty to bridge gaps across depart­ments has not only improved our oper­a­tional effi­cien­cy but has also enhanced the qual­i­ty of care we pro­vide for our patients.“
