Cancer Connect Support Group

Can­cer Con­nect is a sup­port group for any­one touched by can­cer, includ­ing any­one receiv­ing treat­ment, can­cer sur­vivors, and/​or care­givers. Can­cer Con­nect is a safe and com­fort­able place for you to find hope, devel­op rela­tion­ships, and to come to know that you are not alone. It is our goal that you will receive social, emo­tion­al, and prac­ti­cal sup­port from oth­ers, as well as learn cop­ing strate­gies, insight, and inspi­ra­tion. Most impor­tant­ly, we hope you have fun, despite the strug­gles you face every day.

Can­cer Con­nect is facil­i­tat­ed by Shari Robesky, LCSW, LISW, the Oncol­o­gy Social Work­er and Behav­ioral Health Ther­a­pist at the QMG Can­cer Insti­tute. Light snacks and drinks will be avail­able. There is no cost to attend and no reg­is­tra­tion is required.
