QMG Welcomes Gulshan Sethi, DO

9/20/2017

Dr. Gulshan Sethi and his family look forward to calling the Midwest home. Dr. Sethi is a Vascular Surgeon and he’s spent the past several years practicing in New York. He looks forward to joining the Quincy Medical Group family and working alongside colleagues Dr. Christian Zwick and Dr. Timothy Smith.

Dr. Sethi always appreciates the opportunity he has to care for his patients. “The relationship with a patient is very important. A patient puts their trust and faith in you. I work very hard to uphold that faith.”

He provides every patient an individualized approach to best meet their needs. “I care for my patients, and am always available for them. If you’re sensitive to what they need, you’ll have positive outcomes.”

Those outcomes are what he finds most rewarding. “To have a patient come in with a painful limb, and go home walking, there’s nothing more rewarding than that.”

Dr. Sethi received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the Government Medical College in Patiala, India and his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. He did his residency training at some of the prestigious institutions in New York City; New York Medical College Program of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute. He completed his fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Buffalo Program of the Catholic Health System, in Buffalo, New York.
